Hi bro,

It wont be less secure. It is because when the alarm sound off, the anti hijack function will not allow any 1 to start the engine. Even u with ur own key cant start the engine. So u have to use ur remote to disarm it then u can start your engine. That is one of the impt features of the alarm. Feel free to ask any questions bro. (;
