Yes. As long as there are motion, then it will record. When you drive, the surroundings are moving, so it record.

You can go to menu to change the settings to either pics or video. Tap direct from your car battery. Able to last about 4 days. If you never drive for more than 4 days, pls switch it off.

When you install at workshop, you can try different angle until u find a good location to put the camera. The installer will assist you as he will connect to a lcd display to view the angle that you want. Only can use max 2GB. Software design is like that. Cannot change. The main DVR should be place somewhere where u can access anytime.
